Accident Covers (Benefits under Section A)*
This cover provides financial security to you and your family by paying a lump sum amount in case of the following events arising due to an Accident
-Permanent Total Disablement
-Permanent Partial Disablement
-Temporary Total Disablement (Weekly benefit)
Other Covers (Benefits under Section B)*
In addition to the above benefits, you can cover other contingencies arising out of an accident. These covers help you to take care of expenses in case of hospitalization due to an accident.
Accidental Hospital Daily Cash Benefit - pays a fixed sum on a daily basis for the duration of hospitalization.
Accidental Hospitalization Expenses Reimbursement - can be claimed for medical expenses incurred due to hospitalization.
Convalescence Benefit - pays a fixed sum of Rs.10,000 on hospitalization for a minimum of 10 consecutive days.
*Mandatory cover - Any one cover either from section A or B can be taken.
*Extensions under Section A can be opted only if the relevant cover under Section A.

These covers are additionally available if you decide to go for a comprehensive coverage on the payment of additional premium.
Carriage of Dead Body - covers the cost of transporting the body of the deceased from the place of death to place of residence.
Permanent Total Disablement Improvement Benefit - pays for improvements to be carried out in the Insured Person’s residence to support their daily life.
Permanent Partial Disablement Improvement Benefit - pays for improvements to be carried out in the Insured Person’s residence to support their daily life.
Children’s Education Grant - ensures uninterrupted education of the Insured Person’s unmarried dependent child under the age of 25.
Ambulance Charges - pays for the transportation of the Insured Person to the hospital by a registered ambulance service.
Funeral Expenses Extension - reduces the burden of the family by paying for the funeral expenses of the Insured Person.
What is not covered?
Death/ Accident/ Injury arising from/ due to
- intentional self-injury, suicide or attempted suicide
- influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs
- war/ war like activities
- venereal disease or insanity or mental, nervous or emotional disorder
- breach of law
- circumcision or strictures, vaccination, inoculation, sex change, beauty treatment dental treatment, eye treatment, plastic surgery unless as a consequence of an Injury
- participation in Professional Sports, bodily contact sport or any other hazardous or potentially dangerous sport for which the Insured Person is untrained, unless specifically covered under the Policy
- ionizing radiation or contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear fuel/ nuclear waste
- nuclear weapon materials
